At Onarres, we pride ourselves on our commitment to provide complete customer satisfaction, and our determination to design, build, and deliver water purification solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Water filters are used to purify incoming water, which may vary depending on location and application. Thus, water filters are not one size fits all. Before choosing a water filter, it is necessary to know first what we are dealing with so that we can apply right purification methods to achieve desired results.
There are many possible pollutants in water, and we can broadly divide them into the following four (4) categories:
Particles: dirt, dust, sand, rust, and sediments, etc., insolubles which have a physical
size and can be captured with a net-like filter (sediment filters).
Solutes: Substances dissolved in water, like nitrates, pesticides, solvents, etc., most give rise to bad smells, which can be removed by activated carbon.
Ions: Elements with a positive or negative charge soluble in water, and they include ALL chemical elements, from calcium, magnesium, to lead and mercury.
Microbes: waterborne microorganisms like bacteria and viruses. Disinfection by UV, ozone, chlorination, germicidal filters, or membrane separation.
These pollutants come in various sizes. But, human vision has limitations, and we can see only matters larger than 30 um (micron). Anything smaller than that, eg bacteria, is invisible to human eyes. So, a water looks clear does NOT necessarily mean it’s clean.
With this understanding, Onarres categorizes our products into three (3) groups:
Prefilters are point-of-entry (POE) filtration systems that remove pollutants in the raw water before they enter a building. Filtered water is then fed to ALL faucets in the building, ie CRs, kitchen, and laundry room etc.
Prefilters can remove suspended particles, bad smells, discoloring agents, and hard ions, etc., from raw water. The filtered water would look clear and have no bad smells, good for general utility use, like cleaning, laundry, and showers.
Onarres carries complete range of water prefilters, from 10” systems for small condos to 52” systems for large buildings. Depending on actual needs, we suggest appropriate prefabricated cartridge-based systems and/or FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) systems to deliver desired results.
Onarres now carry below prefiltration products:
- 10” Cartridge-type 4-stage Prefiltration System
- 20” Slim Cartridge-type 4-Stage Prefiltration System
- 20” Jumbo Cartridge-type 4-Stage Prefiltration System
- 35” FRP Backwashable 4-Stage Prefiltration System
- 52” FRP Backwashable 4-Stage Prefiltration System
Onarres is a socially-responsible enterprise. We do our utmost efforts to reduce plastic wastes and to help you save money by adopting washable and reusable housings with built-in backwash mechanisms.
Onarres offers complete drinking water solutions across the spectrum, from a small family to a large company with thousands of employees. For drinking water, safety comes first. Thus, sterilization is the most important part of a drinking water system.
There are many water sterilization methods, like chlorination, boiling, ozone, UV, ceramic, germicidal, and membranes, etc. Among them, chlorine, ozone, UV (ultraviolet), and germicidal can kill bacteria but do NOT remove the dead bodies, i.e. dead bacteria and viruses are still in the drinking water.
To remove microorganisms, we need media that can physically separate them from the water. The media available now on the market that can separate microorganisms from water may include ceramics, ultrafiltration (UF), and reverse osmosis (RO).
Ceramics, with a nominal pore size of 0.3 um, can block larger bacteria, like E-coli, but not smaller bacteria and viruses.
UF is a membrane with pore sizes range between 0.1 – 0.01 um, which can capture mold and bacteria but NOT viruses nor heavy metals. Hepatitis-A/C viruses for example can penetrate thru UF membrane.
RO, with a nominal pore size of 0.0001 um, is the only filter media now available on the market that can separate viruses and ions from feed water. It is nearly pure water, so it is also the most expensive.
Onarres carries a comprehensive range of RO systems, from 75 GPD (gallon per day) residential systems, to 400 GPD commercial ones, and up to 36,000 GPD industrial high-flow systems, all designed and produced in Taiwan. Among them, Onarres ROPure, a kitchen model, has been certified by Philippines FDA to comply with all physical, chemical, and microbiological requirements.
Onarres now carry below RO products:
- 75 GPD RO System
- 100 GPD RO System
- 200 GPD RO System
- 400 GPD RO System
- 800 GPD RO System
- 4000 GPD RO System
- 36000 GPD RO System
Lastly, Onarres has the technical capability to modify a water dispenser and connect it directly to a water filter. The modified water dispenser can auto-refill purified water from the RO systems. No more plastic jugs are ever needed again, and the water is always fresh in the water dispenser. Help you keep the micro-plastic particles away from your drinking water.
For many industries, use of pure water with low TDS (Total dissolved solids) readings is absolutely mandatory. TDS is an indicator of the presence of non-water contaminants, and these contaminants can have a negative impact on the final product quality. So, to ensure quality, the process water has to be highly purified to the extent where the impurity level becomes undetectable at ppm level, i.e. TDS becomes zero (0).
The process involved in the removal of non-water contaminants in water, including chemical ions, is called de-ionization (DI). And the highly purified water with a TDS 0 is called “ultrapure water”.
For factories who need ultrapure water, Onarres provides de- ionizing (DI) modules, which features our proprietary mixed-bed resins from Taiwan, to polish RO water to absolutely pure water with nearly zero impurities. Getting a water electrical resistivity above 16 is now made easy and a lot cheaper.
Whatever your clean water needs may be, Onarres has water purification solutions for you. Contact Onarres now for your water purification solutions.
